Currently, Indonesia is ranked fifth in the incidence of stunting in children under five in the world. In Indonesia, stunting is called stunted, meaning that there is a disturbance in physical growth and brain growth in children. Stunting which is characterized by height that is not in accordance with the child’s age is a chronic disorder of nutritional problems. Stunting children can occur in the first 1000 days of birth and is influenced by many factors, including social economy, food intake, infection, maternal nutritional status, infectious diseases, micronutrient deficiencies, and the environment. This journal uses descriptive research and literature study. The factors that influence the incidence of stunting are directly influenced by disease and lack of nutritional intake in quantity and quality. What the government does in preventing stunting is through the Pillars of the National Strategy for the Acceleration of Stunting Prevention, Leadership Commitment and Vision, National Campaign Efforts and Behavior Change Communication, Central, Regional and Village Convergence Programs, Food Security and Nutrition, Monitoring and Evaluation. Stunting prevention is a shared responsibility and requires cooperation from various parties. The Indonesian government has issued many policy and regulatory packages related to stunting interventions. The Specific Nutrition Intervention Program is carried out by the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) through the Community Health Center (Puskesmas) and Integrated Service Posts (Posyandu) through the First 1000 Days of Life Movement (HPK).</em></p> <p><strong><em>Keywords: Stunting, Efforts to Overcome</em></strong></p&gt;}, number={2}, journal={Indonesian Journal of Sport Community}, author={Kukerta Lembah Sari 2022}, year={2022}, month={Aug.}, pages={25-33} }
